What we do
Work Shops
The club frequently offers workshops to further broaden members interests and techniques. Along with this selected judges and experts offer their knowledge in the way of presentations on various topics.
It is intended that outings be arranged for members on weekends, evenings or mid week allowing flexibility for those able to attend. Outings are for Members Only, no guests due to insurance reasons.

Club Membership Fees
Annual individual membership fee is $35.00, with partner $50.00. (Our year ends 30th of June.)
We also ask that you pay $5 at every meeting which is the club’s only other source of revenue and goes towards payment of club insurance, PSQ affiliation, hall rental and tea/coffee.
Welcome to Burpengary Camera Club
We encourage all forms of photography, whether you use a smartphone/iPhone, or digital photographic gear and whether you embrace the power and creativity of editing software. It’s the final image that counts.
Since we first began in 2015 it is very pleasing to see the motivation and determination of the club’s members.
We hope to continue to see it expand over time. Our aim is to promote, improve, share and enjoy photography, offering advice, workshops and outings, all specifically designed to improve photography and photographic skills in a friendly social atmosphere. We offer a supportive environment and forum where members can display their work (with or without constructive comment).
Membership is open to all regardless of whether you are a beginner, an amateur or a professional photographer.
Join the club to find motivation, inspiration, and learn more about your photography.
Image Review
Photographic Society of Queensland (PSQ)
We are an incorporated not for profit organisation and have affiliated with the Photographic Society of Queensland (PSQ). We have our public liability insurance through the Photographic Society of Queensland (PSQ).
Through this organisation we are able to source more expert advice through speakers and judges. We hope that members will learn and be informed by guest speakers and judges to help improve their photography skills.
Competitions
Although the club may enter interclub competitions, there is no club grading. Generally the club is non-competitive.
By arranging Judge critiques, members will be guided on how their images will be placed and are free to enter any external competition individually if they wish.
Member's images may be submitted for critique, either by PSQ accredited Judges or by peer review. Members are encouraged to submit their images for evaluation so as to improve their skills, knowledge and technique. This takes the form of a non-competitive review and feedback forum.
